Sherlock

Sherlock is a modern day version of the Sherlock Holmes books. It airs on BBC.  Sherlock and John Watson live together in a flat and solve mystery's.  There have only been nine episodes but they are as long as a movie so they take a long time to make.  Most of the episodes are either based off the original books or have references.  The 'bad guy' is still Jim Moriarty just like in the books.   Sherlock and John still live in 221b and Sherlock is still an annoying flat mate. I really like Sherlock and I think you should watch it! 

Homestuck

Homestuck is a web-comic created by 'Hussie'.  It is about four kids (and trolls which are introduced in Act 5) that have a game called 'Sburb'.  Sburb is a like a real life Sims game where there is a Server Host which can move around objects, spawn objects, etc.  John, the first character introduced to the comic is a 13 year old boy, that has three known internet friends that he met on Pester Log (the four other kids).  Their names are Rose, Jane, and Dave.  Each of them have a very different personality.  For example: Dave likes rapping and puppets.  Jane can see the future in her dreams and is rich.  Jane also likes to grow plants.  Rose likes knitting and monsters related to cuthulu.  In the game Rose, which was the server host at Johns house at the time, placed a countdown.  It was counting down to a meteor heading for Johns house.  The meteor sends them to different mediums to do tasks.  They have Sprites to help them and guide them through their adventure.


The trolls are based off of Zodiac symbols. The trolls start off as their friends and grow more attached to them as they go through their adventures.   Read Homestuck on MSPaint Adventures or listen to other people on You Tube to find out more!

Doctor Who

Doctor Who is a science fiction TV show, on BBC, about a time traveling alien called the Doctor.  The Doctor is the last of his race, which is called the Time Lords.  The Time Lords come from the planet Gallifrey.  Gallifrey has two suns and over the show the Time Lords have either had outfits with all blue clothes or all red clothes.  The Time Lords have two hearts and can regenerate twelve times (unless given more regenerations). Regeneration is when a Time Lord is close to death and they choose to change their body's appearance.  The Doctor almost always travels with a companion (that is usually human) to travel with in his time machine known as the TARDIS.  TARDIS stands for Time And Relevant Dimension In Space.  The Doctor's TARDIS looks like a police public call box.  A TARDIS is bigger on the inside, so it's not a machine crammed in a police box it's like a whole world in the police box!

The show Doctor Who has been running for 50 years!  The very first time it aired on TV not a lot of people watched it because it aired on the day J.F.K was killed.  The producer urged for it to re-air and when it did a lot of people watched it!  I really suggest that you watch Doctor Who!
